Pharma advice

Nowadays, competition in pharmacies involves a series of strategic factors that go beyond the products and services offered.

Pharmacies need to differentiate themselves from the competition, catch consumers’ attention and stir interest among them, which is why merchandising tools and techniques are more important than ever.

Merchandising takes place from the time a product enters the pharmacy until the time it is purchased by the consumer and can be defined as the activity of promoting the sale of products at retail. Merchandising activities may include display techniques, on-the-spot demonstration, special offers, and other point-of-sale methods used to increase turn-over and ultimately profitability.

Because your pharmacy is unique, and we know that your success is our success.

Hot spots and Cold spots :

Shoppers have a natural tendency to act a certain way in a point-of-sale. For this reason, the different parts of a pharmacy are divided into hot and cold spots.

• Hot spots: these are the most attractive places in the pharmacy for customers. There are two types of hot spots:
Natural hot spots: they are related to the pharmacy’s structural design, the furnishings, the cash register lines…

Artificial hot spots: they are created with lighting, decoration, posters…
• Cold spots: these are the places that do not catch consumers’ attention as much, either due to poor placement of shelves or products, poor visibility because of reverse customer circulation or areas close to the entrance.
